Our cover photo this year (by David Long) is something we can all relate to, a young boy and his aunt entranced by the beauty of a Muskoka sky –albeit with a modern twist of locating various constellations through modern hand-held technology.
The beautiful painting (Muskoka Wetlands) on our Yearbook cover, is an original by artist Lynda Bry- den. Lynda says it was done in acrylic paint on canvas board. Lynda says she usually does a rough pencil sketch on paper first to establish her values, before transferring it to the board. In previous years, the Muskoka Ratepayers’ Yearbook has been produced by Unique Publishing Inc, publishers of Unique Muskoka. Unfortunately, with the current COVID-19 pandemic, this was not possible this year. Instead, for 2020, a digital version has been produced.
